We%26#39;ll be in Boston for a few days, a family of four, including two teenagers. Just wondering what your favorite places to eat are.
What's your favorite restaurant?
Budget? Particular foods you like? avoid? Looking for any particular atmosphere?
Definitely head to the North End for an italian meal. My family enjoys La Summa, a good basic place to eat. I know it%26#39;s a chain but the other place that satisfies all is Legal Seafoods. If you are heading to Harvard Square, then stop at Bartley%26#39;s for a burger and raspberry lime rickey. Delicious (please note cash only, and no restroom facilities here). Those are just a couple of quick thoughts.
What's your favorite restaurant?
My favorite place is Kowloon on Route 1 north its a chinese restaurant one of the best around it also has the Comedy Connection.
It really depends what sort of food and atmosphere you atre looking for, as well as budget. I have a dozen or more ';favorites'; but they definitely don%26#39;t suit all occasions or company.
My family likes the Daily Catch on Northern Ave, Mr. Bartley%26#39;s Burger Cottage in Harvard Square, Durgin Park at Faniuel Hall, Pizzaria Regina in the North End, Cafe Vittoria (gelato for kids, espresso for adults) for adults on a HOT summer day, try cafe granita (they don%26#39;t alwyas have it) it%26#39;s frozen espresso, slush like, but not sweet ... served w/ sweetened whipped cream ... YUM!
For a quick breakfast or even lunch, we like Breugger%26#39;s Bagels on School Street (also on the Freedom trail)
We also like Border Cafe in Harvard Square but really, it doesn%26#39;t make sense for somebody from LA to eat Mexican food in Boston when you have so many choices there ...
