Go Boston Card

My husband and I recently took a trip to Boston/Cape Cod area. We used the Go Boston Card and we were VERY satisfied. We got to do many more things with the card that we would not otherwise have done. Using the card for the Duck Tours and the Ferry to Martha%26#39;s Vineyard probably paid for the card. Then the Harbor Cruise (Hyannis), Swan Boats, Mayflower II, Plymouth Plantation, JFK museum, were basically all free for us to enjoy. The only thing is that you have to travel to different places to pick up your tickets for the events. It%26#39;s a little trouble, but for the amount of savings it is totally worth it!! Enjoy Boston.

Go Boston Card

bad idea- i was advised that you get good deals but bad quality w/ go boston

Go Boston Card

What do you mean ';bad quality';? You get the same admission to various sites just like everybody else. I would understand questioning the value of the card if you don%26#39;t cram a whole bunch in, but this has nothing to do with quality.

Does anyone know of any voucher or promotion codes I could use to buy a 5 day Go Boston Card for 2 people? As i plan to trek from state to state, I was going to be in Boston for 5 days and wanted to see as many attractions as possible.

Any help will be appreciated

So glad I didn%26#39;t get the Boston Go card: It would have been a terrible waste of money.

First of all, the Trolley that%26#39;s included is notoriously bad, and you don%26#39;t need one in Boston.

Secondly, none of the activities on the card are so large that you need to return on consecutive days: That includes the fine arts museum. Unless you%26#39;re an art major, that%26#39;s a one day museum.

So, paying for admission to everything for consecutive days makes no sense at all.

Plus, the lines are not bad: We never waited to pay admission to anything.

Skip the card. It%26#39;s a tourist trap of the first calliber.

The intent of the multiple days for the Go Boston Card is not to go back to the same places you%26#39;ve already visited, but to go to additional sites you haven%26#39;t. I%26#39;ve got a feeling this message (or any others) wouldn%26#39;t sway you, though.

I guess no one knows of any deals then on the card? The card does still seem to be a very good deal especially for 5 days and with soo many good attractions to go and see.

Does anyone know if you can use the card for multiple ferry trips, meaning if you go one way to the destination, is the trip back to Boston free also? oris it just one way trip that is free??? It would be nightmare if its only one way trip thats included.

I%26#39;m trying to decide it this is a good deal or not. With the Duck tour and the whale watching trip, it seems like a good deal...any other thoughts on the go boston card?

I%26#39;ll have more to say on this after next week when we put it to use. I looked at all the places we wanted to go and added up the admission to each of them and then added up the Go Card price and I come out ahead using the card. Simple math really...

This is a link from a visitor who recommend the Go Boston Card last June.....

We used the 5 day card last July for our trip to Boston and loved it. We saved $40 for each of 4 people so it was worth it for us. It actually helped us plan our itinerary and we did not get bad service from any of the attractions. I would recommend it to anyone but you have to do some figuring to make sure it will save you $. Not a tour trap at all.
