reasonable hotel outside of boston on or near subway

We are looking for a reasonably priced hotel outside of Boston but near or on a subway line into the city. Planning on spending a couple of days in August.

Hi nancy, where around Boston are there sights you want to see? Do you need a pool or other amenities?

We have been to Boston before, but we would probably do the usual tourist things such as the freedom trail, quincy market etc. A clean hotel and decent bed is all we need, as we will be gone most of the day spending it in the city. Most important would be a subway within a short walk from the hotel.

Try the Marriott Courtyard in Revere. They run a free shuttle to the airport subway station where you can hop on the blue line and in two stops you are at the Aquarium stop which is right at Fanueil Hall. When you want to get back, take the subway back to the airport and call the hotel and they send the shuttle to pick you up.

Druid: Nice tip...do you think they run a shuttle to Kelley%26#39;s?

I love going into Boston- I ALWAYS use Priceline and use the ';Name our own Price'; feature- The only downside is that you cannot change once you name your price- I just booked the Embassy Suites at the airport for $72 and that included the fees and taxes-I did not know the hotel I would be getting until after my price was accepted but I was able to pick the location in Boston as well as star level- I can%26#39;t even estimate the amount of money Priceline has saved me over the years and I have been using them for 10+ years-

The hotels in Revere are not on the Subway Lines, even though the subway does go to Revere Beach. Instead, so a search in the box above on ';hotels on the T';. We have discussed this many times in the past.
