Would really like to see a game while in Chatham In August. Where can I find the schedule? Has anyone been to a game? Cost?
Chatham A's baseball teamHere%26#39;s the website with the 2009 schedule:

No tickets and all the games are Free! The games are fantastic. You%26#39;ll love it.
I don%26#39;t know when in August you%26#39;re visiting, the regular season ends August 5th and then the playoffs go for about a week after that.

Notice that the name has changed from Chatham Athletics to the Chatham Anglers. I like that!
We are there 8/1 - to 8/8. Looks like we will be able to see at least 1 or 2 games. Is it hard to get in?
Not at all hard. You can park on Depot Rd. near Chatham Elementary School and watch the game at Veteran%26#39;s Field from your own chair on the hill or you can try for a seat in the bleachers.
We have a new baseball field. It%26#39;s beautiful.
oops! meant to include this link, it has pictures of the field and other Chatham photos:

While the games, are, technically, ';free,'; they do pass a hat around during the game, asking for contributions. Since they don%26#39;t gouge on drinks or snacks, I usually like to throw in a few bucks. I only mention this in case you might choose to do the same...
I%26#39;m glad someone finally mentioned the ';passing of the hat';. Also the game is easy to get into, however parking may be an issue. Not a whole lot of parking around the field area.
Sure you can park at local restaurants and take up their patron parking, but that%26#39;s kind of rude isn%26#39;t it. You could also park illegally on the street and make a traffic hazzard, but that seems kind of rude too.
Finding parking is difficult so arrive early, get a snack, and enjoy. They are a lot of fun, plus you never know who you will see in the Majors later...
The Chaham A%26#39;s fansite (not the official website) has suggestions for parking too:

Nobody will consider it %26#39;rude%26#39; or a %26#39;hazard%26#39; if you park in a business lot if the business is Closed for the day. If you%26#39;re parked in a lot of an open business and you walk to a game I guess you could be towed...
Re: street parking: Obey all posted signs. (seems silly to state the obvious here)
