Cruise Terminal to Fenway Park

Does anyone know how my husband and I could get from the Cruise Terminal (Princess) to Fenway Park. We would love to take a tour of the park since there will not be a game there the day we are there(Sept 7 Labor Day) We do not dock till 10 am that day so we would probably be looking at a 12 noon tour. Then we would like to go to the Freedom trail for a look around there if there would be a bus from Fenway to somewhere on the Trail. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much Tice

Your best bet would be to take a cab to Fenway.

If money isn%26#39;t a factor, then take a taxi from the cruise terminal to Fenway. It will cost you about $30-35 with tip.

If money is somewhat a factor, take a cab from the terminal to Park Street T station and hop on any outbound green line train except for the E train. Take the train to Kenmore stop and walk over to Fenway. This would cost you about $20-25 for the taxi plus subway.

If money is definitely a factor, take the SL2 (Silver Line Bus) from the terminal to South Station. Take the red line (Alewife) train to Park Street station. Transfer to green line outbound to Kenmore stop. Cost is $2 per person for the whole trip. From terminal to Fenway, it will take you about 1 hour.

To see the Freedom Trail after Fenway, go back to Kenmore station and take the green line inbound to either Boylston or Park Street and walk over to the visitors center across from the Boston Common. It%26#39;s on the corner of Tremont and West Streets. Or you could take it even further and hop off at Government Center and walk over to Fanueil Hall Marketplace.
