boston international airport to wrentham village

How far by car is it from the airport to wrentham village?

Where would a good place to stay after Wrentham as we have to drive to Conneticut the following day.

Without traffic, it is about 50 minutes. See directions:

maps.google.com/maps…

You should allow extra time to get out of the airport and to get your car, etc.

There are some motels/hotels around the area, but I don%26#39;t know the details. There are certainly some on Route 1 in Foxboro, but not sure where else.

There is an entrance to The Ted Williams right near the car rentals. Hop on here and follow signs to 93 south to 95 south to 495 north.

I would at least get thru Providence after the outlets. Post the question on the Providence Forum.

295 goes around Providence and there are many places to stay here.

For places to stay I would look in Milford, Westborough, and Marlbrough.

They are all north (on Rt 495) of Wrentham and very close to the Mass Pike, which I am sure you will be using to go to CT. You could also use Rt 290 - 395 depending on where you are going in CT

You can be on the Pike within 15 mins of all those towns and the hotels are right off the highway.

Sorry, that is Marlborough or sometimes spelled Marlboro

If you want to go the Pike then I would get 495 behind me if travelling morning rush hour. Maybe even look into The Sturbridge area to stay for the night.

I agree with eileengs2 about where to stay. If it is during the work week, the Rt. 495/Mass Pike (rt.90) interchange is difficult. Where in CT do you have to be?

Going to Hartford.

Why not drive to Hartford right from the Outlets? It%26#39;s only 90 minutes away. It seems a waste of money to spend a night somewhere when Hartford is so close.

I agree..go right to or near Hartford.

Hartford has a good forum...post a question on where to stay. This is another place with a tough morining commute.

We are not getting into Boston airport until 3.30pm

so by the time we collect car and get out to Wrentham

I guess it would be closed. So I was thinking of

staying near to Wrentham and get to it early in the

morning of 9th June and spend a few hours there and

then head to Hartford as we are staying there for a

few nights with friends.

We have no other available time to go to Wrentham.
