So sad! I had some fun times here in my ';drinking'; days. You would think this place would thrive even more in this economy. It was really a fun but budget conscious place, especially the BYOB!

Westernmass, Thank you for sending this our way. I just finished reading it! Unbelievable. The economy%26#39;s hitting pretty hard with this one. I haven%26#39;t been there in years, but I have SO many great memories of being there, I can still see the band playing in that Tally Ho barn. That%26#39;s where we first went horse back riding %26amp; where we learned how to ski. We had more laughs at that Eastover resort in the Berkshires! You know it%26#39;s a shame that this place will no longer be around for younger people to enjoy, it was quite a hot spot in it%26#39;s day!

So now I guess we have to chalk Eastover up to just great memories and that%26#39;s about it. I can%26#39;t believe this economy we%26#39;re in. It%26#39;s like the original Filene%26#39;s Basement that%26#39;s gone now too, never to return. Yet, I always said about that original one closing that once all those fantastic people that worked there retired, then that was IT for that store in my book! It was history as soon as they walked out that door %26amp; took their famous markdown pens all with them!

What will be next, I wonder...
