I%26#39;m traveling to Salem with a friend next month from Philadelphia and would like to know...........what is there to do in the evening?
I heard there are no dance clubs (bummer cause they are a dime a dozen here) so how do you let loose? I%26#39;m not expecting to go wild and crazy but we are on vacation.
Where does the late twenties/early thirties crowd hang?
Do you have any 24 hour diners?
Local spirits store?
Don%26#39;t worry, I%26#39;m not partyting it up with children. My best friend and I are going in order to celebrate her 30th birthday. (I already booked a reservation at Strega on her special night).
Thanks for any/all input.

There actually is dancing in Salem. ';Rockafella%26#39;s'; has dancing. Not sure but ';O%26#39;Neil%26#39;s'; across the street from Rockafellas is a popular spot. Another place with a young crowd is Strega where you already have a reservation.
Liqour stores in Salem: Bung hole (yes, this is the real name) across from Pickering Wharf. Steve%26#39;s Market has beer and maybe wine. Wine stores: Pamplemouse in the East India Mall and Salem Wine Imports on Church St. Across from this wine store is The Lyceum Restaurant which has live bands Fri %26amp; Sat nights (sometimes dancing on Fri nights) but this is an older crowd. Finz at Pickering Wharf no longer has music but does have a crowd about your age and it gets crowded on weekends.
Do not know if there are 24 hr. diners or not.
Hope this helps and have fun in Salem.
